Our Logo Explained
South Head Lighthouse was located at the southern tip of the Bay of Islands, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The late Albert Sheppard was a lighthouse keeper (and resident mechanic) there from 1966 until 1980 when the lighthouse was shut down. Albert served there faithfully along with his older brother Howard Sheppard (Head Light Keeper), younger brother Hillary Sheppard, friends Ken Druggett, the late Wilson Kendell and others. It is in memory of our father Albert and the service of his fellow Light-keepers that this company is named.
